Lot 2 of Lyon-Turin rail tunnel link awarded to consortium comprising SYSTRA and three other European engineering firms

The Rail Delivery Group has commissioned SYSTRA to carry out an evaluation of the 26-30 Railcard. The research is being carried out on behalf of train companies, who are working together in partnership to develop new products that make leisure travel easier, and better value for money for its customers. The digital 26-30 Railcard, which is being piloted in the Greater Anglia area, will provide eligible customers with a third off most rail fares in Britain.

SYSTRA has been appointed to the Northern Ireland Department for Infrastructure (DfI) Strategic Transport Planning and Modelling - Managed Services Framework. Through this framework we will have the opportunity to provide a range of services to the Department client team, including active travel planning & appraisal, local public transport planning & operations, transport modelling and transport scheme appraisal support.

SYSTRA Ltd supported South Tyneside Council and Highways England in a successful bid to the National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF) to provide a highway improvement scheme on the A19 northbound approach to the Tyne Tunnel. 

£200 million from the UK government’s new ‘Transporting Cities Fund’ will be used to extend the Midland Metro to Brierley Hill, West Midlands mayor Andy Street has confirmed.  The investment will enable Brierley Hill to be connected via Dudley to the existing network at Wednesbury with 11km of new line.

Alison Pickett has joined SYSTRA to lead and develop its Sustainable Travel and Mobility Management capabilities in Ireland.
