Payroll Supervisor - Manchester

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to join our finance team in our Manchester city centre office.

The role of the Payroll Supervisor will be to manage the payroll process from start to finish for 450 staff in the UK as well as a small Irish and Expat payroll.  The post holder will also be responsible for:

  • maintaining accurate account balances
  • managing any issues relating to payroll
  • ensure payroll processes continue to current legislation requirements

This is a standalone role but working within the finance team therefore previous experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.

The successful candidate will have previous experience using the ADP Freedom payroll system and in-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing, including manual calculations.  You should also have an understanding of salary sacrifice schemes and pension auto-enrolment as well as knowledge of applicable local tax rules and laws and previous experience of producing P11Ds, P60s etc.

You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, be an excellent communicator in both written and spoken forms and be willing to help others with a positive attitude.  You should also have a high level of attention to detail and be willing to flexible in your approach.
